the fox and graphs.
One hot day, a hungry fox was walking through the forest looking for
food. After walking for a long time, he became very tired and thirsty.
Suddenly, he saw a bunch of ripe, juicy grapes hanging from a vine high
on a wall. The grapes looked fresh and delicious. The fox's mouth
started watering. He decided to get them. He jumped high to reach the
grapes, but he missed. He tried again and again, jumping higher each
time, but the grapes were too high. The fox ran back and took a long
jump, yet he still could not reach them. After many attempts, the fox
became very tired. He sat down and looked at the grapes for a moment.
Then he said to himself, “Those grapes are probably sour anyway. I don't
want them.” Saying this, the fox walked away, pretending that he did not
care.
The Lion and the Mouse
One day, a lion was sleeping peacefully in the forest. A little mouse
came running and accidentally ran over the lion’s body. The lion woke up
angrily and caught the mouse under his big paw. The mouse was very
frightened. He begged the lion to forgive him and said, “Please let me
go. One day I may help you.” The lion laughed loudly at the idea that
such a small mouse could help him. Still, feeling kind, he let the mouse
go. A few days later, the lion was caught in a hunter's net. He roared
loudly for help, but no animal dared to come near him. The little mouse
heard the lion's roar and ran to him. The mouse began to bite the ropes
of the net with his sharp teeth. Soon, the net was cut and the lion was
free. The lion thanked the mouse and realized that even small creatures
can be helpful.
The Rabbit and the Turtle
One day, a fast and proud rabbit was making fun of a slow turtle. He
laughed at the turtle and said, “You are so slow! You can never win a
race.” The turtle felt hurt but remained calm. He challenged the rabbit
to a race. The rabbit agreed and thought it would be very easy to win.
On the day of the race, all the animals of the forest gathered to watch.
The race began, and the rabbit ran very fast. Soon, he was far ahead of
the turtle. Feeling confident, the rabbit decided to rest under a tree
and soon fell asleep. The turtle moved slowly but steadily without
stopping. He passed the sleeping rabbit and continued walking step by
step. After some time, the rabbit woke up and saw the turtle near the
finishing line. The rabbit ran as fast as he could, but it was too late.
The turtle reached the finish line first and won the race. The rabbit
felt ashamed, and the turtle was praised by everyone.
